Editorial Line:

The journal Macrohistoria publishes orignal and unpublished articles that are not submitted to another journal at the same time, and that explore themes of Latin American history on a broad scale. That is, using comparative history, or connected history, or transnational history, or Global History, or even Big History approaches.

Plagiarism and/or Self-Plagiarism Policies

All contributions are reviewed by the Editorial Team, in order to check for plagiarism, understood as the complete or partial use of ideas, hypotheses, texts or images from other people without the correct mention of the source. Self-plagiarism, understood as the submission of articles that totally or partially reproduce works previously published by the author, is not tolerated. The iThenticate software is used to check these cases. In case of detecting any of these situations, a protocol will be implemented to inform the author of the article of the situation, in order to enable a release. After 60 days, the disclaimer will be evaluated, and the editorial committee will decide whether to proceed with the evaluation process or to reject the paper.

If you are interested in collaborating with us, download the template for publication and adapt your article to the editorial guidelines. Then create a user on the journal's platform and upload your article. We promise to respond as soon as possible.

We accept articles all year round.

Thank you!
