The Atlas of the Wonders of Latin America is examined as an instrument jointly developed by academic networks and business associations to promote Eco-Cultural Tourism as a mechanism for economic, social, and cultural development, while enhancing natural and cultural heritage. Using qualitative methods and an interdisciplinary approach, the study situates the Atlas as a Latin Americanist initiative within the evolution of the region’s economic and political ideas. Its content, scope, and the convergence of stakeholders involved in its development and implementation are analysed. The study concludes that the Atlas constitutes an innovative instrument that articulates academic knowledge and entrepreneurial action to enhance the visibility of Latin American heritage.
